Two rules cover almost everything: every character is a fictional adult, and anything you show to other people through Nocturne must not depict a real, identifiable person. What you keep private is yours.
1. Never allowed, anywhere
- Minors. No sexual content involving anyone under 18, in any form: no ages, "teen", school-year, or body descriptions that imply a minor; no "aged up" framing of a child character. Every character in every story is an adult. Requests that appear to involve a minor are blocked before writing, logged, and repeated attempts close the account.
- Real events of sexual violence presented as real, and content that instructs or encourages real-world harm.
- Using Nocturne to harass a specific person, or to produce content for extortion or intimidation.
2. Private stories
- Private stories are for your own reading. Within rule 1, we do not restrict theme, kink, or tone: dark themes, non-consent, power imbalance, family-role fantasies between adults, and other taboo fiction are permitted as fiction between fictional adults.
- We do not read, rate, or edit your private stories. The AI author may decline a scene on its own; when that happens your credit is returned.
- You are responsible for what you write and for keeping it private if it would be unlawful to share where you live.
3. Published and shared stories
"Published" means visible to others through Nocturne: share links, public story pages, and our social accounts. Published stories must also meet these rules:
- No real, identifiable people. No living or deceased public figures, performers, streamers, private individuals, or anyone recognisable by name, group, role, or description, in a sexual context. A character who merely shares a common first name with a real person is fine; a character tied to a real identity (their band, show, team, employer, life events) is not.
- No content that a reasonable reader would take as a real event or a real person's private life.
- We may disable share links or public pages that break these rules, and we act on valid reports. Repeated publishing violations end sharing privileges.
4. Fan characters and names
- Characters from games, anime, novels, and films are fictional beings and may be written as adults (a character's canonical age must be 18+ or the character is treated as an adult in canon).
- Fan characters belong to their creators. Nocturne stories are non-commercial transformative fiction for personal reading; do not present them as official.
- Names are not people. Writing a character called "Mina" or "Taeyeon" is fiction unless the story ties her to a real, identifiable person.
5. Reporting
- Every shared or public page has a Report button. Reports go straight to the owner and are reviewed within a few days; pages that break rule 1 are removed on sight.
- You can also email support@nocturnestories.art with the page link and the reason.
